The Howard Johnson Mediterranea Hotel & Suites has been restructured and
refurbished in a rustic style which blends beautifully with the vista of the
fishing village.
Each hotel room, studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments is fitted with
rustic furniture, a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite
television, radio, air conditioning and ceiling fans.
The studios also provide a dining area and kitchenette, whilst one and two
bedroom apartments include a private bathroom, a separate shower room, a living
area with armchairs and a double sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen and dining
area.
Room Service is available. A Laundry/Dry Cleaning service and the use of office
equipment is also available.
The Medallion Court has just undergone a major refurbishment upgrading the
property to a Three Star Standard. It is now being operated by the
Management of the Howard Johnson Mediterranea Hotel & Suites, which is situated
only a few meters away. This property is within walking distance of the Bugibba
Promenade and within easy reach of Bars, Restaurants and Entertainment.
The fully renovated Two Bedroom Apartments are spacious, comfortably
furnished and can sleep up to Five persons. All the apartments have
Ceiling Fans, Lounge/Diner, Kitchenette, Bathroom and most have Balconies.
Studios, consisting of sleeping area, Kitchenette and Bathroom are also
available and are located on the Ground Floor. They can accommodate
Two persons.
Facilities include an Outdoor Swimming Pool / Sun Terrace with Sun Beds, Two
Lifts and Coin operated Telephone. Linen Service is done once weekly.

The Al Faro Restaurant
The main restaurant is open throughout the week and offers a buffet style
breakfast, serving a vast selection of hot and cold lunches and a sumptuous four
course dinner. The bar is open daily and serves all beverages and a selection of
snacks all through the day.
Pool Bar
Open during the sunny summer days, serving a variety of grills, salads and
refreshments by the pool.

Fitness Centre
For privacy and comfort, the fitness centre is available for hotel guests only.

The roof top swimming-pool includes a large Jacuzzi, and commends an awesome
view of St.Paul's Bay and the Mediterranean sea. The sun terrace surrounding the

Description:
St Paul's Bay and its neighbours Bugibba and Qawra are Malta's largest,
seaside resorts. They offer plentiful accommodation ranging from self-catering
apartments to hotel complexes and a variety of nightlife and leisure options.
The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St
Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said
to have been wrecked. Standing prominently on the isle is a large statue of the
Apostle commemorating this legendary event.
Bugibba and Qawra The coastline promenade stretches from Salina Bay to St Paul's
Bay taking in some of the Islands' best open sea views and a vista over to St
Paul's Island. The shore is rocky, but that has not prevented the resorts'
appeal. The flat rocks provide places for sun bathing and there are access
points every so often for swimmers. The water is deep, but generally clean,
clear and safe for bathing. The Qawra promontory to the north west has been
developed into a distinct resort with hotels along the coastline and numerous
holiday apartments just inland. Salina Bay takes its name from the salt pans cut
in inner segment of this sea inlet. The water on both verges of the bay is not
deep but is quite suitable for swimming off the rocks. The bay is popular
throughout the summer
